Is Samsung Gear S2 Compatible With Pixel 2 Xl

    I read that the Nexus 6p had issues - some say they were worked out, some say they still had problems. Anyone?

    I've done some searching but nothing which answers your question. Hopefully someone has experience with the same devices and can shed some light on whether the 2 work together.

    Should work. I have my S2 Classic LTE paired with my 6P. Everything works fine. Only make sure yous install the Gear Manager app and plugins.

    I take a Gear S2 LTE Sport and information technology works just fine with my Pixel, better than with my 6P actually.

    ok so I bought the Gear S2 works now with my pixel Xl another problem is anybody getting calls to your sentinel as well when somebody is calling your phone? I go all the notifications I gear up it to. to my watch but when somebody calls my phone my scout wont tell me

    I traded my gear s2 in for my gear fit two for running.

    Glad to hear its working fine. Samsung was awesome for making it compatible with all of android so I can all the same apply it despite having to give my note 7 back

    And I got it for free with my note 7 ha

    When I accept my Gear S2 connected to my Pixel, my car cannot connect to the Pixel properly. I have to plough off my Gear to get the telephone to connect to the Pixel. From my Windows Telephone days, I was able to use my ring with no result and when I got in the auto my Lumia would connect to car just fine. Just started wearing the Gear this week after I picked upwardly the Pixel then I do not know if it is the phone, Gear or even the car.

    Gear S2 with LTE worked with my Nexus 6, then with my electric current Moto Z Force. Hoping it works well with my Pixel Forty when I get it in December.

    I accept had two Gear S watches and take had very little trouble till now. Verizon is sending a new watch because after iii total hrs and 2 days trying to connect was a pain. Looks like the application is having problems forth with the watch.

    Offset the guy said that it seems that the phone overrides the sentinel and factory resets it and that the sentinel shouldn't do that. Then he calls me back after I had the insurance send another and tells me he thinks it'due south the phone.

    Gear S2 interfering with my pixel telephone as well in my car bluetooth. Gotta disconnect BT from pixel to fix it cause at that place's no way to fix priority when in the car.

    I am having this exact same issue with my Pixel XL and my Gear S3 Frontier. Has anyone figured out whatever resolutions to the bug? My Gear Southward Plugin app on the Pixel 40 is constantly crashing likewise. Hopefully this tin get resolved shortly every bit I beloved the Pixel Twoscore likewise as the Gear S3. Thanks for whatsoever help!

    FWIW, I take not been able to connect my original Gear (that is, the first one Samsung released in fall 2013) to my Pixel XL. Gear Manager installed on my Pixel XL searches for it but cannot find it. I'm assuming the version of Gear Manager that one tin download from the Play Shop is the same as the version one tin can download from Samsung'due south Galaxy Apps store (which version worked fine with my Gear on my onetime Note iv).

    I see that the s2 now supports Samsung pay. Is there whatever style to get the Samsung pay app on the pixel only to get the app to work with the gear s2 sentinel? It'south not available on the play store via my pixel. I know its only bachelor to Samsung devices but if I have the watch I technically should be able to use Samsung pay via the watches congenital in technology

    Edit: I got it! Can be installed via the Samsung gear app on the pixel. Wow this is friggin astonishing!!
